Forest
Park IL Rib Fest, 2007 |

The following information is an overview of our technical and logistical requirements. Our performances
are unique and require more background information than simply hiring a
band or orchestra. Remember that there are no stupid questions!!!!
The Rig
- Our aerial rig is freestanding and can be set up on any fairly level
surface and at varying heights beginning with an 18' height clearance
(19' minimum clearance required for indoor venues).
- The footprint is 30' wide x 45' deep.
- All performance and costume changing will occur within this space.
If space becomes an issue, we can shrink this area to 30' x 30'.
- To construct the rig, we require the use of an on-site scissor-, bucket-,
boom-lift or similar apparatus. If there is no such apparatus, an additional
rigging expense will be incurred and will be part of the event proposal.
We are also capable of rigging to overhead truss (either exposed or
unexposed; site inspection required).
- For outdoor venues, our box truck will need to have access to the
performance area previously described.
- For indoor venues, we will need access to the performance space for setup the day or evening prior to
the event. If same-day setup is required, there will be an additional surcharge
added onto the contract. Amount of surcharge depends on time of performance
in relation to amount of setup time.
- If we are shipping our rig, it will arrive on a truck with a tailgate
and will need a place to live on site until we arrive. (Usually one
or two days.)
- We typically ship our rig out the day after the event. A shipping
address and event contact is required.
- For overnight events, security of the area is to be provided by our
client.
- Site inspections are free for a radius of less than 60 miles from
our homebase, but there is a fee beyond that distance.
- We can rig to existing structures for indoor events only with a previous
site-inspection.
The Performances
- Generally, our music is run off of a laptop computer by our sound
tech. Our Emcee works off of a lavalier mic. We can either bring a sound
system in at an additional fee, or plug into an existing sound system
and run it from there.
- We respectfully request that our performance times do not conflict
with band performances or other auditory shows.
- Our shows range in length from 25 minutes to 2 hours depending on
your needs. We can perform up to four performances per day.
- Performance times should be spaced no less than 90 minutes apart (60
minutes if need be).
Power Requirements
We usually require a 100amp service. More or less depends on the services
requested. This can be determined easily by a site inspection.
Other Requirements
Bottled water and/or juice will be required for event duration for all Forms
In Motion performers. A dressing room is preferred for indoor events.
We are a unique form of entertainment. There is no such thing as a stupid
question. Do not hesitate to contact us with any
questions or concerns that you may have!
