After ending a gloriously boring career as a chemist, Nikolai ran away with the circus — his own. He has performed the gamut from stand-up comedy to animal shows to acrobatics and aerial performance, the latter of which has become his specialty.

Since starting his performance part-time for anyone who would pay or even just watch him, he has learned to become a Jack-Of-All-Trades always with a few tricks up his sleeve. Continuing to stay fresh, Nikolai looks forward to the latest Forms In Motion theatrical adventure, “The Journey Of The Arabella!”

So remember, reach for the stars and follow your dreams or you will never be true to yourself!


Our newest Empress Of The Air, Lady Jenabelle, is new to the FIM crew and excited to be part of the tradition!

Having spent a lot of time leading the Rifle Line and Color Guard in Marching Band, working on stage in the sports area at Disney World, and just beginning her career acting, she felt that her calling was in the performance arts.

During college she expanded her horizons by becoming part of the Triton Trouper Circus, where she performed opening ceremonies on the Swinging Trapeze, as well as numerous other acts such as: German Wheel, Teeter-board, Synchro-Poi, and Swashbuckling in a Wire Act. Her motto is “Show it to me and I will do it!”


Findlini is a long-time performer having begun on stage at 13 years old. He is a classically trained actor possesing a degree in performance from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he studied with Yasen Peyancov, Bernie Sahlins and Nick Rudall.

He has performed with many chicago theater companies and is a founding member of Chicago's Xwing theater company, specializing in puppet shows for adult audiences and experimental theater.

He was swept up into the circus life and finds little more exciting than the thrill offered by the complete removal of the "fourth wall".


A frightfully tremendous trumpet player! There is no tune he cannot play!

After joining the Triton Troupers Circus 5 years ago, Bryan juggled, globe-walked, unicycled, trampolined and fire-performed his way into fame and a moderate amount of fortune with the Forms In Motion Circus!

Scholar...Teacher...Performer...Juggler...What else is there besides moonlight walks on the beach and origami?

We all live by the sword and die by the sword!


By day, Sizzle serves the elderly in helping triumph over aging using her Master's Degree in Social Work. By night she transforms into circus performer extraordinaire, providing entertainment such as physical acting, juggling, fire, stilt walking, and more.

Sizzle now entertains with Forms In Motion and enjoys the expression of creativity with the show. She can also be seen performing at the Triton Trouper Circus and various night clubs, festivals, parades, parties, etc.

Sizzle would finally like to say thank you to her parents for spending thousands of dollars on an education, in order to find her true calling!


Drizzle is an artist and musician, photographer and programmer, philosopher and humorist, skilled cook and inline skater, lifelong Chicagoan and parent to a young adult.

Born several hundred years prematurely, Drizzle fills his time with practicing Spanish and musical saw, and honing his balloon twisting, face painting, and other performance skills.

Drizzle has been seen at dozens of prominent circuses and festivals as well as being a resident performer for Forms In Motion.


In her audition for The American Repertory Theatre's MFA program in acting, Sarah told her auditioners that she wanted to mix circus and theatre, that “Chekov on a trapeze is much more interesting.” After two years, a residency at the Moscow Art Theatre School, and lots of circus training under her belt, Sarah has come back to Chicago to take the arts community by storm.

Sarah loves to show off her funny bone in her comedy fabric act, and likes to show off her strength on web and chinese pole.

Sarah recently joined two of Chicago's aerial dance companies and is thrilled to be performing with Forms In Motion as a leader in the entertainment industry!


Captivating Kathryn, at age 14, studied ballet, jazz, modern dance, dance composition, and flamenco at Ironi Alef, School of Performing Arts in Israel. When she returned to Chicago, she qualified for the state competition with the Tigerettes dance team.

To add more sparkle and pizzazz to her repertoire, Captivating Kathryn joined the Triton Trouper's Circus and later the Forms in Motion Circus where she learned skills such as juggling, poi, manwheel, acrobatic double stunts, and the Spanish Web. Today she is working towards mastering aerial silks and lyra.


Tachyon T. is a 15-year veteran cheerleader and was part of the current reigning Cheer Ltd. National Champion Allstar Squad.

Previously, he could be seen around Chicago in The Truest Tale of Robin Hood, Solestance, Le Boeuf sur Le Toit, Le Vorris & Vox Circus, The Chicago Spirit Brigade, as well as a variety of corporate and private functions.

Often seen bouncing around the city FreeRunning or cycling, he is proud to be a part of Forms In Motion!
